This is my ongoing series "Arrived" about young people arriving in Germany with the hope for a better future. Ali is from Gambia in West Africa. Three years ago, at age 17, he came to Germany via Lampedusa in search of a better future for himself. He would love to play for an amateur soccer team. Meanwhile he is going to school in order to become a tiler.
